About
Background
I am a qualified lawyer in England (Solicitor), Italy (Avvocato) and New York State (Attorney-at-Law). I usually assist corporate groups and high-profile individuals with complex matters. I have 20+ years of consolidated experience advising clients on business and family matters, spanning from major corporate transactions to strategic commercial deals with sensitive regulatory issues, and from multi-party settlements, involving high-net worth individuals and multimillion US$ worth of assets, to family succession planning for corporate assets.
My experience
I regularly assist corporate clients in connection with international business acquisitions and joint-ventures, as well as financings and settlements of complex claims. I also assist high-net worth individuals with a variety of corporate and family matters, including inheritance and tax planning. With regard to disputes, I settled a variety of highly sensitive business and family matters, including by acting as mediator. My work is consistently commended by clients and counterparts.
Notable work
Notable transactions include the first approval by the Italian Civil Aviation Authority of a trust holding the shares of an air-carrier to guarantee compliance with EU regulatory requirements.
In addition, in 2018, based on my report, the Italian press revealed that the Italian State collected €32 billion from companies in taxes disguised as social contributions. Coverage included Millennium - Il Fatto Quotidiano (“Tesoro, un malloppo da 32 miliardi sottratto alle imprese…”) and other national outlets.
